Hult Prize på Jönköping University

Hult Prize arrangeras på Jönköping University för första gången. Delta i tävlingen och få chansen att presentera din idé och representera JU utomlands.

The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student competition. Students from 300 universities around the world compete to solve a pressing social issue faced by millions via start-up enterprise.

For the first time, students of Jönköping University will run an internal competition, giving the chance to other students to have a unique entrepreneurial experience and get the chance to travel and represent their idea and their university abroad.

You can join this year’s competition with a team of 3-4 students, the competition at Jönköping University will be held 25 November 2016. There you will pitch your social venture idea to a jury, and the winning team directly qualifies for the regional finals.

What is Hult Prize?

The Hult Prize Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to launching the world's next wave of social entrepreneurs. It encourages the world's brightest business minds to compete in teams to solve the world's biggest challenges with innovative ideas for sustainable start-up enterprises. Annual Hult Prize winners can make their ideas reality with the help of USD1 million in seed funding.

Who can compete?

Hult Prize events are open to all students from the organizing university only; this includes undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs. Teams that qualify from the internal round are called to action to compete in one of five global regional rounds of competition. Teams of 3-4 students are charged with developing ideas for social enterprises that can conquer modern day’s most solvable global challenges.

What happens next?

Following a Hult Accelerator Program in July and August, each of the six finalists will attend CGI's annual meeting in September. Within the meeting agenda, President Clinton will host the Hult Prize Global Finals. Here, teams will pitch their ideas in-front of a world-class audience, where President Clinton, along with CGI Meeting attendees will select and award the winning team with a USD1 million prize.
