What is Accelerating a Sustainability Transition?

Accelerating Sustainability is designed to inspire and enable collaboration and leadership for effective change towards sustainability. The course supports sustainability innovators and broadens their understanding of global risks, international standards, and regulations. By studying value chains and ecosystems, we explore how to adapt to the 1.5-degree target and overall Agenda 2030 goals.

The course is designed to empower participants and prepare those who want to coach their own or another organization to accelerate their transition to sustainability. Participants are encouraged to explore their own resilience and role by unpacking Inner Development Goals and exploring their personal values and impact.

This journey is supported by regular dialogues, coaching, and mentoring to help participants reflect, engage, and work on their identified goals.

Link to research and practice

The course introduces the global context of sustainability, the SDGs, and the IDGs to facilitate sustainable innovation. It also addresses the social dynamics of transformation, innovation within the organization, and infrastructure/environment to create a roadmap for sustainability transformation based on science-based targets (SBTI). The course builds on global calls for decolonization and the creation of a regenerative economy.

Type of instruction

The course will be delivered online with a mix of recorded short lectures, seminars, and workshops.

*Teaching will be in English.
