Petter Haglund
Research and Teaching
Petter’s research primarily focuses on strategies and organizational approaches for achieving efficient logistics in the construction sector. He is currently involved in the research project R3, which aims to create the conditions for resource-efficient, resilient, and circular supply chains within industrial wood construction.
Petter has taught courses in production and material planning, industrialized construction, construction logistics, distribution, transport and warehousing, economics and organization in the construction sector, as well as scientific methodology. He has also supervised thesis projects in logistics and construction engineering.
Biography
Since August 2024, Petter has been working as a Lecturer in Logistics at Jönköping University’s School of Engineering. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the same university in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Design and Construction Project Management in 2019 from Chalmers University of Technology. He then began his doctoral studies in Construction Logistics at the Department of Communication and Transport Systems at Linköping University in Norrköping.
Petter received a Licentiate of Engineering degree in 2022 and a PhD in 2024, both from Linköping University. His doctoral dissertation, “Logistics Organization Design for Building Contractors”, was defended in May 2024.
