Fredrika Sundberg received the Astrid Janzon scholarship 27 November 2015 when it was awarded for the first time ever. Fredrika is a PhD student at the School of Health and Welfare.

Fredrika Sundberg pursues her doctoral studies within the Doctoral Programme at School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University, where she has been a PhD student since June 2015. She conducts the research project "Evidence-based design in intensive care - a caring and safe environment?"

On Friday 27 November, Fredrika received the Astrid Janzon scholarship, which was awarded for the first time ever during the annual Astrid Janzon-day.

“I am honored and happy to receive the Astrid Janzon scholarship”, says Frederica Sundberg.

Fredrika was awarded the scholarship for her doctoral studies because they are in the true spirit of Astrid Janzon.

Astrid Janzon was a part of changing nursing education and health care environment in Sweden in the mid 20th century. This is celebrated every year when Astrid Janzon Day is organized by the School of Health and Welfare at Jönköping University, Linköping University and the Red Cross University College in Stockholm.
