This is Encell
We are a collaboration and a networking hub for research within life-long learning.
As a collaboration hub for research and knowledge development on adults’ lifelong learning, in various contexts and on different arenas, we strive to further strengthen our intra-, inter-, and extra-organizational collaboration.
What does that mean?
By intra-organizational collaboration, Encell means cooperation between research environments that share common research interests in adults’ lifelong learning in various contexts, such as within organizations or professions.
Inter-organizational collaboration is ongoing in several research projects between researchers within Encell and other schools at Jönköping University.
Extra-organizational collaboration takes place in multiple projects with companies, research networks, and other higher education institutions, both in Sweden and internationally. For example, doctoral students participate in two research schools: The Research School in Adult Learning and The Research School for Teachers in Folk High Schools, conducted in collaboration with the universities of Linköping, Stockholm, and Gothenburg. Encell also carries out assignments for the EU.
A thriving network of 32 members
Encell’s activities have grown over the years and now engage 32 people: five professors, three associate professors, seven PhDs, and seven doctoral students at HLK, as well as ten affiliated researchers, seven of whom are international.
