The University Library provides a number of services in order to support education and research at Jönköping University.
Research publishing
The library offers publishing strategy support in the areas of journal selection, dissemination options, and copyright in connection with parallel publishing in open repositories.
The library has a number of agreements with publishers that make it possible for you to publish in journals with open access options for free or with discount.

Research data
The university library offers advice and coordination of services concerning the management of research data as well as the creation of a data management plan.

The library can help you provide publication statistics and perform bibliometric analyses and network visualizations.

Literature searching
The library can guide you as you search within the academic literature, for example before you undertake a literature review. We provide support such as how to implement search strategies, search techniques and tools as well as database functionality.

Reference management
EndNote is a reference management tool to which all members of staff at Jönköping University have access. The library offers support on how to use the program.

Postgraduate course
The library offers the course Information literacy and scholarly communication for doctoral students, 3 higher education credits. The course is aimed at postgraduate students and is specifically well-suited at an early stage of the student's postgraduate studies.
The Library also holds a lecture in the course Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
Information search skills
The library offers education in information retrieval for students as part of a course or a programme.
The teaching is planned together with course teacher or coordinator, and is adapted after the education level as to be integrated with the education as well as possible.
Students are also offered guidance in connection with writing essays.

Loans via internal mail
Member of staff at Jönköping University can request books that are not out on loan, and have them sent to their mail box. Click on request in the item information of the bibliographic record in Primo, and the loan will be delivered via internal mail.
Interlibrary loans
Books and articles that are not available at the University Library can be delivered by our interlibrary loan service.

Acquisition suggestions
We appreciate any suggestion from teachers, researchers, or postgraduate students, for publications we should acquire to the library.
Course coordinators state the current course literature in KursInfo, and the library will make sure that the books are available at the library at the start of the semester.
