Johannes Hagen in DN
Today’s Dagens Nyheter (DN) features an interview with Johannes Hagen about elderly’s incomes and the pension system.
In a recent presentation at SNS, Johannes presented new data on the development of pensions between 1992 and 2019. Real pensions have increased steadily in all income groups during this time period. Pension replacement rates have been fairly constant despite rising life expectancy and a non-increasing average claiming age. Seven years after retirement, most people have at least 85% of their pre-retirement income to live off. The slides from the presentation can be found here.
