Digital exam in Inspera is performed on your own laptop-computer. Here you can find more information and links for writing digital exams in Inspera.

Digital exam JU

Preparations before exam

  • You need a PC or Mac. JU do not support Chromebooks
  • Download the latest version of SEB, Safe Exam Browser
  • Close SEB if you see this message. Safe Exam Browser will open automatically when you start your exam!
  • You need to know your username and password to your JU-account, and to your eduroam-account (Wi-fi), otherwise go to link, opens in new window or contact IT-Helpdesk
  • If you don't have a laptop computer, you need to book one from JUexternal link, opens in new window at least 10 working days before the exam
  • Prepare yourself and make sure you have the right SEB-version by performing a demo exam

If you have MacOS version 10.11 or older - please upgrade before your exam!

On exam day

  • Arrive to the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the exam starts
  • Bring your laptop computer and your charger
  • Don't forget to bring a valid ID (JU-card with valid student union stamp, driver's license, passport)
  • You need to be logged in 15 minutes before the exam starts to assure that everything works
  • Start your computer and connect to eduroam (Wi-Fi)
  • Shut down all running programs

Start the exam in Inspera

  • Start a web browser - Chrome/Firefox/Edge/Safari (Mac OS)
  • Go to ju.inspera.comexternal link, opens in new window
  • Log in to Inspera, using your JU-account e-mail ex
    If you have problems with your JU-account or eduroam, contact an invigilator immediately!
  • You find your exam under "My tests"
  • Open your exam with the SEB-password you get on the occasion
  • Don't turn off the computer when the screen turns black!
  • When you've finished your exam, contact an invigilator!

After the exam

  • Once your exam has been assessed by your teacher, go to ju.inspera.comexternal link, opens in new window and log on using your JU email adress and your JU account password. There you will find your results and mark. The teacher has the choice of publishing different amounts of your assessed exam.

    Within a near future you will see your result in the JU app, in the same manner as the other exams
