Mathias Adamsson is an Assistant Professor in Lighting Science at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University, Sweden. He holds a Master in Industrialised Building, and a PhD in Architecture and Construction from Faculty of Engineering, Lund University. Mathias has a University Diploma in Lighting Design from Jönköping University, School of Engineering.
Mathias research focus and interests lies in the development of an integrated approach to Lighting Design that considers human´s physiological, psychological and visual needs on the built environment, along with sustainable use of energy, BIM (Building Information Modeling), digital analysis and simulations focusing on sustainable design of buildings and urban environments, sensors and lighting controls.
