Reach your goals in sports and studies at Jönköping University. While studying at Jönköping University you can participate in a variety of sports activities - from beginner to professional levels.
Those who practice a sport can combine this with higher education, whether you are pursuing an elite-level sport, just for fun and exercise or through our rowing initiative.

Find what makes you feel good. When studying at Jönköping University, there are many opportunities for you to exercise, no matter what level your are at or what sports you’re into:
- Join a sports club in Jönköping municipality
- Join a sports club via the Student Union Committee, Jönköping University Sports Association (JUSA)
- Start your own association within JUSA
- Try new sports through JUSA or at any of the sports clubs in the municipality.

Elite Athlete Friendly University (EVL)
Jönköping University is an Elite Athlete Friendly University. We give you the possibility to combine elite sports with university studies. When studying at Jönköping University, you are offered an individually adapted study plan and support for development in your sport.
Suits you who: Compete at national level or in the highest series.
Jönköping University’s Rowing Team
Jönköping University Rowing Association (JURA) is a collaboration between the university and the Jönköping Rowing Society.
As a student you are able to practice rowing with experienced coaches, both indoors and on Lake Munksjö (a large lake in the centre of the city).
Hooked on rowing? You can qualify for a place in the rowing team and compete against other universities, national and international.

E-sports
JUSTICE is the Student Union's e-sports association whose goal is to put Jönköping University on the e-sports map by developing talented players who want to train and compete. Also, the world's largest digital festival DreamHack is held in Jönköping.
Suits you who: Have an interest in games and want to compete in e-sports.
Campus Arena
On campus you will find Campus Arena, which is the University’s own sports centre.
The sports hall is used in the daytime for sports classes, large-scale lectures and events. In the evenings the Student Union's sports association JSIF organises sports activities for its members.
Campus Arena includes a gym, with Jönköping University students and staff as its primary target group. The gym is run by Nordic Wellness, which is today one of Sweden's largest exercise chains. Nordic Wellness offers exercise in a modern environment with a view over Lake Munksjö and the very latest in group training, gym and functional training.
