<p>Julia Kaidalova, doctoral student in Information Technology at the University of Sk&ouml;vde, will nail her doctoral thesis on November 19th.&nbsp;</p><p>The nailing ceremony takes place at JTHs entrance at 09.30 am and you are all invited to attend. <p>Seminar presented by Jan Alpenberg, sernior lecturere at Linneus University</p><p>Jan will present a paper co-authored with Fredrik Karlsson: &ldquo;The importance of the symbiosis - Working Environment Conditions in Manufacturing Lean Enterprises - effects and implications&rdquo;.</p><p>Lean production (LP) has been the dominant production rhetoric for the last couple of decades but there is limited and ambiguous knowledge concerning the impacts of how LP practices influences the working environment conditions. In their study, the authors add granularity through in-depth empirical studies to the field and provide evidence for both positive and negative impact of the use of LP on the perceived working environment conditions among employees in the manufacturing sector.</p>
