Ciência sem Fronteirasmeans Science without Borders and is a large scale nationwide scholarship programme to assist Brazilian students and researchers to study at top universities worldwide.
Science without Borders is primarily funded by the Brazilian federal government. The program seeks to strengthen and expand the initiatives of science and technology, innovation and competitiveness through international mobility of Brazilian undergraduate and graduate students and researchers.
The primary goal is to assist Brazilian students and researchers to study at top universities worldwide until 2014. Swedish universities are providing around 2,000 study places allocated at Jönköping University and 26 other Swedish universities.
